This bioinformatic resource is made available to the equine research community in order to promote and accelerate genomic research for the benefit of all horses.  
 
This database and associated website were developed by David L. Adelson and Ning “Edward” Wei.  This site is currently under active development, with new features/data being added on a regular basis.  The site is currently hosted by SAPAC.
 
Initial support for the development of this database was provided by TERAAC.  Current support is provided by the University of Adelaide.
 
We are part of the Horse Genome Project.
